HOUSE OF BOOKS WAS SOLD TO KENT BARNS!
There’s always a moment to begin a new story. There are no words that can properly convey to those of you – and you know who you are – who support the House of Books and have rallied for me these past 7 years. If you have the dream of owning an independent bookstore, please contact me. Neil Gaiman said, “A town is not a town without a bookstore,” and Kent wouldn’t be Kent without the House of Books. It has been Kent’s Literary Landmark for 43 years and my hope is that it will continue to be.
It has been such a great honor and an enormous privilege to own such a place of solace, curiosity, inspiration, and escape, and to recommend books to our dear readers. I hope you will continue your support of HOB in 2019.
With my gratitude,
Robin J. Dill, Owner, House of Books
